SOMETHING SPECIAL EVERY DAY

Arrival - Transfer - Get Together You will arrive at Cagliari International Airport (CAG) by 4 pm at the latest. There you will be picked up by our private shuttle and taken to the Villaggio in Nebida. After checking into your room, you will get to know all the participants over an aperitif and receive some information from us. We will then enjoy a delicious dinner together, prepared by Massimiliano, and toast to a wonderful week ahead of us.

Masua-Pan di Zucchero After a hearty breakfast, there is a short fitness workout with a fantastic view of the sea. We then receive a few instructions regarding safety and the local conditions. Roberto then drives us to the beach in Masua, where our surf skis are moored. We will do a few "remounts" to make sure that everyone gets back into their surf skis. Then the first tour takes us to Pan di Zucchero to get used to the sea. If you feel like it, you can order lunch on the beach afterwards and head out on the water again.

Masua -Porto Flavia-Grotta Sardegna-Canal Grande This morning we'll be practising our wing paddling technique to improve it over the course of a week. We then paddle a longer tour via Porto Flavia to the Grand Canal. On the way, we paddle through the Grotta Sardegna, where the water is spectacularly illuminated by the incidence of light. The exit of the cave shows the outline of Sardinia, hence the name.

Downwind training, Cagliari (Poetto)-Villasimius Depending on the weather, we organize downwind training at Poetto in Cagliari in the direction of Villasimius. This training is carried out in cooperation with the Kaunas Team Cagliari, the organizers of the Ohana Mana Cup. The local surf ski paddlers are very experienced in the waves and know many useful tips and tricks. Note: This training is not included in the price and costs CHF 100 per person.

Masua-Cala Domestica-Masua We paddle north along the coast to Cala Domestica, the beach that you can see on every wall at the airport. The crystal clear, turquoise water is spectacular! You have to see it. Then it's back to Masua beach, where we load the surf skis onto the trailer. Then we enjoy Massimiliano's cooking for the last time, look at the pictures from the week and celebrate the end of a wonderful week of surf skiing!

Trip FAQS

Arrival You arrive at Cagliari International Airport (CAG) by 16:00 at the latest to catch our shuttle. If you can't make it, we can organize a cab for you at a special rate.

Departure Our driver leaves our hotel at 9 am and arrives at the airport in Cagliari at around 10 am at the latest. If you have an early flight, you can order a private cab from us at a special rate.

Note: Flight connections are also possible via Milano-Malpensa airport. If you want to travel by car, you can take the ferry.

We stay in a private, very well-kept villaggio with a fantastic view of the sea. It has many different rooms, including small, colorful cottages, which are also suitable for families. Each room is air-conditioned and has a shower and WC. All rooms are very clean and well maintained. The restaurant serves us breakfast and dinner every day (included in the price). Eveline takes care of the room allocation and the well-being of the guests.

Sardinian cuisine is rich in flavours characterized by fresh ingredients and Mediterranean influences and is characterized by its simplicity and the use of local products. It reflects the Mediterranean tradition and offers a variety of flavors that are shaped by the influences of the coast and the land. Massimiliano always cooks very fresh and with a lot of passion. Let yourself be surprised. The Sardinian wine is also excellent!

Safety First If you follow our instructions, nothing will happen to you or your equipment. Safety is our top priority during this week!

Crime The crime rate in Sardinia is very low compared to many other places. We have been traveling with many people in this region for over 14 years and have never had any problems. Nevertheless, you should take the usual precautions to prevent theft. Valuables should be kept safe and not left unattended.

Healthcare Healthcare in Sardinia is generally good. However, it is advisable to take out travel insurance to ensure adequate medical care in an emergency. We are well connected with the locals and have good friends on site. Nobody needs to worry.

We offer impeccable, well-maintained equipment that is ideally suited to our offer. Sturdy surf skis from Epic and Nordic Kayaks, wing paddles from NK, life jackets from Vaikobi and leashes from NK are part of the basic equipment. We recommend sun protection textiles, polarized glasses from Vaikobi (Australia) and sun cream from Skinnies (New Zealand). Both can be ordered from us. Shortly before departure you will receive a detailed packing list with recommendations from us.
